June Waege was born and raised in Manitowoc, WI.  She attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School in Manitowoc, WI and graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 1990.  She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1994.

After marrying in 1994, she taught Kindergarten at Trinity Lutheran School in Marshfield, WI for four years.  Following this she became the first director and teacher of East Twin Tiny Treasures 4-Year Old Kindergarten in Mishicot, WI. She taught there for 9 years before taking over as preschool director at St. John’s Lutheran Preschool in Maribel, WI. In 2010 she became the administrator for Loving Arms Christian Child Development Center which is a mission outreach of St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Maribel, WI.  She is currently the 3K & 4K preschool director and teacher at St Paul Lutheran School in Tomah.

In past years has taught sectionals on preschool curriculum at the District Teachers’ Conference. She received an Administrative credential through NWTC in 2012.  She also directed the adult choir at Trinity, Marshfield & St. John, Maribel for a time. She has always served as a church organist upon graduation from college. 

June & Lance have 3 children.  Addison (21) is a 3rd year student majoring in electrical controls engineering at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI.   Donovan (19) is a sophomore studying elementary education at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN. Jessica (16) is a sophomore at Luther High School in Onalaska.
